Use of Folisec:

Biological Crop Care in agriculture, horticulture, gardens and parks, where nuisance of insects and their larvae occurs in trees and woody plants

Composition:

FOLISEC is a highly concentrated composition of specific herbal concentrate, based on water and soy oil. Available in liquid and grain shape

Mode of action:

FOLISEC can be used as an indirect expulsion for all kinds of nuisances of insects and larvae in leaves like Processionary moth and caterpillar, pear psylla, pear blister moth, spider mites, gall midge, white fly, leaf miner, thrips, scale insects, mealybugs, ermine moth.
FOLISEC will be absorbed by the roots and foliage. Partly thanks to the present root stimulating and nutritional ingredients the roots, leaves and soil will develop an increased resistance.
The ingredients in the product have, in addition to a soil improvement and a crop enhancing effect, an indirect effect on pests and diseases. Foliar insects and their larvae will be inhibited in their development. The treated land is no longer attractive for them. The trees and crops will develop their own defense system by increasing the resistance and will show a healthy growth.

Application:

We recommend to apply the product as a preventative, especially when in the past there has been much inconvenience and damage. But when damage and deterioration is detected, the product can still, on targeted advice, be successfully applied.
For optimal success dry weather circumstances are required. Clouded and covered weather is very important.
The liquid product, based on water, can be added by watering, sprinkling, spraying, hosing or injection.
Grains can be scattered and/or mixed with the soil. Application using dry injection can be performed with a special treatment. If species are vulnerable, FOLISEC can be mixed with the soil in the plant hole.
A follow-up treatment may be necessary (depending on weather and disease pressure).

Dosage

Liquid:
Spray FOLISEC (L) with a coarse nozzle, so the product will touch the ground

Grains:
FOLISEC (K) can be mixed with the soil before sowing or planting crops. In existing situations it can be scattered along the surface. Mix it through the top layer of the treated soil (5 cm) .
